成果简介NOVELTY - The system (100) has a comparison engine (108) for correlating packet header anomalies detected by a header verification unit (104) with bandwidth utilization data from a bandwidth monitoring unit (106). The comparison engine identifies patterns of suspicious traffic behavior that are indicative of an ongoing distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack. A response generation module (110) automatically triggers countermeasures when the engine identifies a DDoS attack. The response generation module ensures continued operation of legitimate communication within a vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) by mitigating attack impact.
