A DC-DC converter (104) is provided with a bi-directional DC-DC converter (106). A DC bus maintains stable voltage for consistent power distribution. A battery management system (114) is provided for energy storage and management. A three-phase four wire voltage source inverter (108) supplies power. A proportional integral derivative (PR) controller (110) generates a reference current component for maintaining power quality of a microgrid. USE - Unified multi-input multi-output converter-based standalone islanded microgrid system for rural and remote electrification. ADVANTAGE - The power quality and reliability across diverse load profiles are ensured. The high-frequency harmonics generated by the switching operations of the voltage source inverter are eliminated, and the voltage supplied to load adheres to the neutral wire. The efficiency of the solar photovoltaic system is improved. The cost of the microgrid is reduced.
