成果简介NOVELTY - The patch comprises a drug unit comprising a connector interface providing electrical linkage between a control unit and the drug unit. A base enclosure provides structural support to the drug unit. An adhesive layer protects the drug and secures the patch to the skin. The control unit is connected through Bluetoothto a mobile application for remote monitoring and control. The adhesive layer is made of hypoallergic materials selected from acrylic-based adhesives, polyisobutylene, silicone-based adhesive, hydrocolloid adhesive, polyurethane and ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) adhesive. A hydrogel comprises polyethylene glycol (PEG) or glycerol. USE - Iontophoretic patch for transdermal drug delivery for patients for applications. Uses include but are not limited to physiology, dentistry, lab science, and medicine. ADVANTAGE - The patch provides non-invasiveness, consistent pharmacokinetic profiles, and enhanced patient compliance. The patch increases bioavailability and presents a promising alternative to drug administration methods by bypassing pre-systemic metabolism. The patch addresses the demand for localized, targeted drug delivery, and minimizes systemic exposure and adverse effects. The patch is safer, effective, and patient-friendly.
