成果简介	NOVELTY - The system has a weight sensor, i.e load cell configured to measure weight of a gas cylinder and generating corresponding weight data. A leakage detection module has a gas sensor (7), i.e semiconductor-based sensor detecting presence of leaked gas, i.e liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) within a predefined area and generating a leakage signal. A microcontroller (1) is operatively connected to the weight sensor and the leakage detection module, and configured to monitor the weight data to determine when the gas level falls below a predefined threshold, generate a booking signal when the threshold is reached, and generate an alert signal upon detecting gas leakage. A global system for mobile communication (GSM) communication module is operatively connected to the microcontroller, and configured to transmit the booking signal to a gas supplier for automatic booking, and transmit the alert signal to a user or an emergency response service by Short Message Service (SMS). A power supply unit is configured to ensure uninterrupted operation of the system. USE - Global System for Mobile communication (GSM)-based system for weight measurement and automatic gas booking with leakage detection for LPG gas based gas stove in domestic application, and chemical industry. ADVANTAGE - The device avoids LPG gas leakage and alerts people in case of gas leakage, and automatically turns off the gas to avoid fire accident in home. The device automatically orders gas for refilling and identifies gas leaks, and switches the gas off automatically in the event of a home fire. The weight sensor provides high-accuracy weight measurements of the gas cylinder. The microcontroller triggers an automatic emergency SMS to a designated helpline upon gas leakage detection.
