| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The smart internet of things-based road condition monitoring system has a deep learning-based detection (DLD) module for utilizing convolutional neural network-long short-term memory (CNN-LSTM) hybrid models to classify and detect road anomalies e.g. potholes and cracks. A predictive road surface analysis (PRSA) module identifies potential road degradation trends using historical data. A real-time anomaly reporting unit transmits detected road defects to a cloud-based analytics platform for processing and visualization. A mobile or web dashboard interface displays road conditions, provides real time alerts, and assists with navigation, where the dashboard interface is connected to a network. USE - Smart internet of things-based road condition monitoring system for real-time road condition assessment and pothole detection using sensor-based internet of things devices and cloud-based data analytics. ADVANTAGE - The system enables providing real-time alerts and notifications to maintenance personnel, thus enabling prompt repairs and reducing risk of accidents. The system allows a cloud computing environment to offer infrastructure, platforms and software as services for which a cloud consumer does not need to maintain resources on a local computing device, thus allowing cloud computing to be a model of service delivery for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or interaction with a provider of the service.
