| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system has a sensor module e.g. ultrasonic camera (101), for detecting obstacles. A Deep learning/machine learning (DL/ML)-based processing unit analyzes surroundings and identify objects. A feedback mechanism communicates information to a user. A power source and wireless connectivity is used for remote monitoring. The sensor module includes an ultrasonic sensor (102) for near-range obstacle detection and a camera for object recognition. The feedback mechanism includes an audio assistance providing real-time navigation guidance. USE - Wearable intelligent system such as belt smart glasses, headband, or wristband, for visually challenged individuals to assist users in navigating environments and performing daily activities, use in intelligent traffic field. Uses include but are not limited to white canes, guide dogs, Braille, advanced electronic aids leveraging computer vision, AI, and haptic feedback. ADVANTAGE - The system provides reliable assistance to help users navigate surroundings and perform daily activities with greater independence by leveraging advanced technologies. The wearable device combines real-time navigation obstacle detection, and situational awareness to deliver effective support. The ultrasonic sensor detects and measures proximity of nearby objects, ensures safe and efficient navigation. The system is wearable and eliminates the additional carrying of stick by the visually impaired people which builds more confident. The system improves object and obstacle recognition to improve user navigation confidence and efficiency. The system improves quality of life and daily experiences, assists visually challenged individuals in navigating their surroundings safely and independently and gives real time audio feedback is designed and developed, and uses machine learning algorithm to improve object recognition over time based on user interactions and enhance user comfort.
