成果简介NOVELTY - The system has a main body provided with a camera, a heart rate sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a steering wheel sensor, a microcontroller, a buzzer, a vibration motor and a display screen. The main body monitors critical indicators of fatigue and processes indicator data by machine learning algorithms trained to recognize drowsiness. The camera tracks driver eye movements and head positions to detect signs of the drowsiness. The heart rate sensor monitors heart rate variability to detect stress or the drowsiness. The accelerometer and the gyroscope detect unusual head movements the drowsiness. The steering wheel sensor monitors a driver steering behavior for realizing erratic movements. The microcontroller collects target data from the sensors and processes the target data and triggers alerts. USE - Internet-of-things (IoT) based drowsiness detection system for detecting drowsy or fatigue in drivers. ADVANTAGE - The system improves accuracy of target detection process when a driver is about to fall asleep, thus improving safety on roads, reliability and performance.
