成果简介NOVELTY - The method involves constructing a deep learning model on convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Retinal diseases are classified. Image segmentation is performed to allow precise extraction of critical features in retinal scans e.g. blood vessels, lesions, and optic disk. Retinal scan analysis process is automated. Changes in retinal conditions are monitored. Early-stage disease progression is detected to enhance likelihood of successful treatment outcomes by facilitating earlier detection of conditions. USE - Method for implementing pattern recognition and segmentation techniques on retinal scan images to accelerate diagnoses and tracks eye disease progression. Uses include but are not limited to diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinal pathologies. ADVANTAGE - The method enables minimizing human error, and supporting remote diagnostic capabilities for improved access to healthcare services.
