成果简介	NOVELTY - Preparing herbal mouth freshener comprises: (a) adding 10 g dehydrated ginger powder in 100ml ethanol and subjecting to microwave radiation of 600W for 2 minutes followed by filtration to form filtrate of gingerol; (b) subjecting cloves to stem distillation to obtain clove oil; (c) subjecting cardamom to stem distillation to obtain cardamom oil; (d) subjecting leaves of Thymus vulgaris to stem distillation to obtain thyme oil; and (e) mixing the gingerol, 0.5 mL clove oil, 0.5 mL cardamom oil, and 0.5 mL thyme oil along with 0.5 g powdered sea salt and 5 mL honey to form herbal mouth freshener. USE - Method for preparing herbal mouth freshener for oral freshness and oral hygiene and for controlling bacterial growth. The ability of herbal mouth freshener to control bacterial growth against Porphyromonas gingivalis.The result showed that the freshener exhibited reduced number of Colonies of Porphyromonas gingivalis to 102. ADVANTAGE - The freshener effectively combats bad breath and promote oral hygiene; maintains optimal oral health and long-lasting freshness with regular usage; is suitable for all age groups, thus making it an ideal choice for families and health conscious consumers; supports oral hygiene by utilizing natural ingredients for freshness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a herbal mouth freshener prepared by the method.
