| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system has an ultrasonic sensor that is configured to measure water levels in real-time. A microcontroller unit is provided for processing sensor data. An Internet of things (IoT) communication module is provided for transmitting data to a cloud-based monitoring platform. A local display unit is provided for onboard water level indication. The ultrasonic sensor utilizes time-of-flight measurement to determine water levels with high accuracy, reduces the impact of environmental noise and vibrations inside the railway coach. The microcontroller is programmed to filter out erroneous readings, detect anomalies, and provide real-time data processing for accurate water level monitoring. USE - System for monitoring water levels in water storage tank of railway coach. ADVANTAGE - The system uses historical data to optimize refilling schedules and reduce wastage, identifies abnormal water usage patterns to prevent leaks and minimize resource loss, enables railway authorities to monitor and manage water levels from a centralized dashboard, and ensures an uninterrupted water supply, so that the travel comfort and satisfaction are improved. The system ensures accurate, real-time water level tracking, minimizes the risks of shortages and optimizes refilling schedules and enhances operational efficiency, and reduces water wastage while improving passenger experience. The system provides instant updates on water levels, so that the manual inspections is eliminated, and notifies railway staff when water levels reach critical thresholds, so that the timely refilling is ensured.
