成果简介NOVELTY - The smart pot system (601) has the solar panels (602) which are embedded in the pot to supply power and charge a battery (603). The dual cameras (604) are mounted on the pot to capture leaves and root zone images (6041) of the plant. An image processing unit (605) is configured to process captured images through preprocessing (6051), segmentation (6052), feature extraction (6053) and classification (6054). An irrigation, fertilization and root pest detection unit (610) includes an AI module (6101) which processes combined data from environmental sensors and the image processing unit to determine the exact needs of plants. A plant care controller (611) is configured to receive analyzed plant care decisions from the irrigation, fertilization and root pest detection unit, and generate corresponding control signals to operate several subsystems, including actuators, valves, pumps and display components for automated plant care execution. USE - Smart pot system for automated irrigation, fertilization and root pest detection of plants in homes and workplaces to enhance their living environment, improve air quality, and reduce stress for working professionals and frequent travelers. ADVANTAGE - The pot ensures precise, responsive and intelligent plant care by evaluating combined conditions. The pot allows a display driver to receive updates from a plant care controller and powers a display to provide real-time feedback to a user regarding plant care operations and system status. The smart pot comprises a smart pot with automated irrigation, fertilization and root pest detection unit embedded within the smart pot to process combined data from environmental sensors and an image processing unit to determine plant's exact needs, thus determining whether the plant requires watering by checking soil moisture levels and whether fertilizer is needed by detecting signs of nutrient deficiency, and assessing the need for pesticides by identifying the presence of visible insects through image classification.
