| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - An integrated, always-on vehicle monitoring system for ensuring vehicular safety, security and operational efficiency, which is referred to as next-generation car monitoring system (NGCMS), has (a) a unified core processing unit (U-CPU) comprising a quad-core microcontroller (ARM Cortex-A53) integrated with edge artificial intelligence (AI) acceleration hardware, (b) a proximity monitoring subsystem including 360°-light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensors, ultrasonic sensors and stereo camera units embedded around the vehicle chassis, and (c) a dual-mode battery health monitoring unit comprising a coulomb counter, voltage and current sensors, temperature sensors and an impedance spectroscopy module, where the system remains functional during motion, idle, and parked states of the vehicle, and transmits alerts, recommendations, and diagnostics to a user device through a mobile application via narrowband Internet of things (NB-IoT) or fifth-generation (5G) connectivity. USE - Integrated, always-on vehicle monitoring system e.g. NGCMS used for ensuring vehicular safety, security and operational efficiency. ADVANTAGE - The system offers a comprehensive solution for modern automotive monitoring and autonomous safety response, and remains operational regardless of vehicle state-moving, idle, or parked and provides alerts and analytics through a secure mobile application. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An integrated, always-on vehicle monitoring system for ensuring vehicular safety, security and operational efficiency, which is referred to as next-generation car monitoring system (NGCMS), has (a) a unified core processing unit (U-CPU) comprising a quad-core microcontroller (ARM Cortex-A53) integrated with edge artificial intelligence (AI) acceleration hardware, (b) a proximity monitoring subsystem including 360°-light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensors, ultrasonic sensors and stereo camera units embedded around the vehicle chassis, (c) a dual-mode battery health monitoring unit comprising a coulomb counter, voltage and current sensors, temperature sensors, and an impedance spectroscopy module, (d) an anti-theft subsystem comprising a piezo-resistive anti-lockpick sensor array, shock-detection sensors and a tamper-detection unit, (e) a passive breath analysis port with microelectromechanical system (MEMS) gas sensors embedded in the steering wheel, (f) a driver monitoring camera unit integrated into the rearview mirror assembly for capturing facial cues and micro-expressions, and (g) a secure vehicular mesh network employing controller area network flexible data-rate (CAN-FD) and local interconnect network (LIN) protocols, and a lightweight encrypted message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) communication protocol for real-time sensor synchronization, where the U-CPU executes ensemble deep learning algorithms, including YOLOv7, PointNet++ and long short-term memory (LSTM) models, to perform real-time object detection, battery failure prediction, driver wellness profiling and security threat classification, and the system remains functional during motion, idle, and parked states of the vehicle, and transmits alerts, recommendations, and diagnostics to a user device through a mobile application via narrowband Internet of things (NB-IoT) or fifth-generation (5G) connectivity. |
