成果简介NOVELTY - The method involves receiving a handover request which is associated with a user equipment (UE) (102) from a source base station. An identification unit identifies two interfaces for performing a handover of UE from the source base station to a target base station based on the handover request. A handover manager unit detects a failure in performing the handover of the UE to the target base station via two interfaces, blacklists the target base station for a pre-defined time period upon detecting the failure in performing the handover of the UE to the target base station and stops the handover of the UE and two UEs to the target base station during the pre-defined time period. USE - Method for performing handover in wireless communication network. ADVANTAGE - The method achieves faster data speeds, low latency and the ability to connect multiple devices simultaneously, facilitates the transfer of user data and control signaling during handover procedures, allows seamless mobility of the user devices between different cell sites served by adjacent next generation node Bs (gNBs), enables coordination and synchronization between gNBs to ensure uninterrupted connectivity and quality of service for mobile users undergoing handover situations and enhances user experience in fifth generation(5G) network by intelligent handover mechanism.
