 Won a Project of 2.52 Million as P.I from NRPU, HEC, Islamabad, titled “Fodder beet seed Production Technology at local level, Agro-Physiological Aspects and its Cultivation on Salt affected Arable Lands of Pakistan” 2015-2018 (Completed)

 Won a Research project of Rs. 7.30 Million as P.I titled “Development of Low Phosphorus Input Wheat Germplasm based on morphological, physiological and molecular traits for food security in Pakistan” from HEC NRPU in March, 2017. (Completed)

 Won a collaborative Research Project of Rs. 40 Million as a team member with Dr. Abdul Mujeeb Kazi, Program Leader Wheat Wide Crosses, NARC entitled “Utilization of Conventional and Novel Genetic Diversity for Bread Wheat Improvement Focused on Some Key Abiotic Stresses”. Funded by RADP, PARC, Islamabad, 2009-2011. (Completed)

 Submitted a Research project as P.I “Introduction and promotion of Chenopodium quinoa L. as a new Crop in Swabi, Kyber Pakhtunkhwa” for funding from Agricultural Linkages Program PARC, Islamabad (Submitted in August, 2021 shortlisted Vide# reference#209).Technologies Developed: Developed local seed production technology of Fodder beet for salt affected soils of Pakistan. This crop is especially useful for salinity amelioration of salt affected lands being halophyte in Nature. Local seed production of Fodder Beet on one hand will help to fulfill local fodder shortages in the country and on the other hand will help to reduce reliance on imported seed and save foreign exchange for the resource poor farmers and hence improve their socio-economic conditions.
