简介: The project is devoted to a new and relevant task in the modern world of analyzing patterns and knowledge about human concentration based on intelligent analysis of EEG data. It is known that a huge number of scientific and applied works are devoted to analysis of the electroencephalography (EEG) signal both in Russia and abroad. The main problem when analyzing an EEG signal is the presence of a large number of artifacts associated not with the work of the brain, but with human muscle activity. However, today EEG, along with an electrocardiogram (ECG), is one of the most popular methods for determining a person’s condition, which is emphasized by the widespread use of portable mobile devices for analyzing the electrical activity of the brain using several channels (for example, Neiry, Brain Bit, Muse ). At the same time, brain activity during human concentration has not been studied deeply enough to date. The project proposes to develop a recording methodology and collect a unique set of data for subsequent intelligent analysis of the electrical activity of the human brain in a state of free movement of human thoughts (mind wandering) and in various types of concentration (concentration on solving a problem, concentration on the internal state). The relevance and relevance of this task is emphasized by the comprehensive use of video conferencing (VCC) both for training purposes and for organizing work meetings in the corporate segment. For example, if an employee is sent for training at the company’s expense, it is advisable to control the degree of his concentration on training tasks. Thus, determining the participant’s involvement will improve the effectiveness of his corporate training, which will allow the company’s funds to be spent more efficiently. As part of the project, research is planned to be carried out using a medical 64-channel electroencephalograph to obtain fundamental knowledge about the differences in brain activity, which will then be transferred to portable 4-channel mobile devices. The fundamental results that will be obtained within the framework of this project will allow the development of add-ons for modern videoconferencing tools, which will allow determining a person’s involvement in videoconferencing using portable mobile electroencephalographs.
